Three suspected human parts traders have been captured by operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Oyo State.
They were nabbed with respect to the assassination of one Adeniyi Adebisi Samuel as confirmed by Kazeem Akinro, the State Deputy Commandant of Amotekun.
The suspects include, Ismail Muraina, Olalekan Akande and one other.
Olalekan Akande, who abducted the victim had made a clean breast of the fact that he used charm to do so.
They slaughtered the victim, beheaded him and and gave out the head to someone who used it for money rituals afterwards.
The 73-year-old was murdered following the suspects’ conspiracy.
The Amotekun Corps who effected the arrest paraded the suspects at Dandaru, Mokola in Ibadan on Tuesday.
Akinro stated: “We heard a report about some suspected ritualists yesterday evening.”
“We started the investigation and we arrested the first suspect in his house who later took us to the other suspects.”
“The suspects confirmed that they kidnapped a man along Amuloko-Akanran road, slaughtered him and removed his head.”
“The head was then given to one Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju who needs it for rituals. We apprehended Abdulrasheed but he had already burnt the head into ashes. ”
Akinro added that they would hand the suspects to the police once they finished looking into the matter.
