A former Lagos state governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has vowed not to retire from politics until he becomes Nigeria president.
Tinubu, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, made the declaration while wooing the party’s delegates in Benue State.
The APC National Leader also described himself as the best man to replace President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023.
According to him: “I won’t retire from politics until I am the president of Nigeria. I will bring the experience of my leadership in Lagos state as a Governor to bear on my leadership style in Nigeria.
“There’s no contest between me and whoever will emerge as the candidate of the opposition PDP.
He added: “I guarantee you that I will run a transparent, open government. Nigeria is rich. What we need is to redirect our resources and channel them in the right direction.”
