A polytechnic lecturer identified as Echobu Adah was on Sunday shot dead by gunmen suspected to be armed robbers.
It was gathered that he was travelling in his car when he was shot by the gunmen on the Otukpo/Enugu highway.
A resident, who spoke on anonymous condition said the hoodlums were operating on the highway when Adah drove to the scene.
