Below is the the breakdown of top 5 matches in Europe this weekend.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Manchester City v Southampton

The Ettihad Sadium is accommodating the saints today by 3pm. Despite the inability to sign a striker during the last transfer window, City has netted more goals than any other clubs in the English premier league.

Southampton have however, won no match this season, drawing their last three Premier League games.

As Laporte and Stones may not be included in City’s squad due to injury, the match will also come too soon for Walcott and Armstrong of Southampton.

Tottenham v Chelsea

The reigning champions of Europe are clashing with Tottenham Hotspurs 4:30 pm tomorrow at Tottenham Stadium in London.

Tottenham have not been doing well since their triumph against Man City. They have only managed to claim points in their last three matches with 1-0 slim win against Watford and Wolves and a surprising draw with Stade Rennes in the Europa League.

With the fact that they scored in every competition, coupled with return of Ngolo Kante as rumoured and their solid defence, one should expect Chelsea to emerge victorious.

SPANISH LA LIGA

Valencia vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid are clashing against Valencia at Mestalla tomorrow night at 8 on dot.

Real Madrid undoubtedly has more wins than Valencia in their meetings ever. Yet, Valencia is never an easy opponent.

It is going to be a very tough match as Valencia had a furious start this season and they are currently tied at the top.

Besides, they share the same points and same goals with Madrid who are atop the La Liga table.

ITALIAN SERIE A

Juventus vs Ac Milan

Juventus’ locking horns with AC Milan on Sunday at the Allianz Stadium, 7:45pm seems to be a great fixture in the Italian Serie A.

Juventus have not claimed a win this season and are ranked 16th on the table.

Perhaps the loss of ever-great player, Christiano Ronaldo to Manchester United is a pointer to their struggles so far.

AC Milan have however, reflected tremendous improvement and they stand just below Roma (1st) in the Serie A top flight.

Aaron Ramsey and Arthur of Juventus, Ibrahimovic and Krunic of AC Milan are all injured and have been ruled out of the game.

FRENCH LIGUE 1

PSG v Lyon

PSG have a good record against Lyon and have won 24 out of 55 matches played between the two teams. Lyon have managed 17 victories against PSG.

Mbappe and Verrati may not make appearances in tomorrow’s match against Lyon at the Parc des Princes 7;45.

The club nevertheless have a upper hand to triumph owing to their exceptional squad and their recent run of form (1st in the table).

The duo won’t be available due to injury. Mbappe’s fresh injury was picked up against Club Brugge duing midweek in the UEFA Champions League.

Ex- Tottenham star, Moussa Dembele among others have not also fully recovered and might not be listed in Lyon’s squad.

A miss of any of these matches is great miss. Hence, I cannot afford to miss any of the top 5 matches in Europe this weekend.
