Chelsea director, Marina Granovskaia has announced that the club is ready to put up Antonio Rudiger for sale.
The decision has left Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel, disappointed.
Rudiger, together with Christensen and Azpilicueta has formed a formidable wall for Chelsea’s defense.
All the three will be out of contract at the end of the season with Christensen and Azpilicueta extending their contracts.
As for Rudiger, it is not much certain that he will have his deal extended amid interest from Madrid, Bayern, Juventus, and even PSG.
The German star who has been impressive under Tuchel will have to exit the club as a free agent if he fails to extend his deal by June.
Hence, Chelsea will put up all their efforts in landing Sevilla’s Jules Kounde as a replacement in case Rudiger eventually leaves.
